Pricing & FAQs
Straightforward pricing and honest answers to the questions we hear most.
We believe in clear communication — about what things cost, what to expect, and how we do business. Below you'll find our standard service pricing along with answers to the questions our customers ask most often.
Service Calls
Our standard service call includes travel to your home and a professional diagnosis of the issue. If repairs are needed, we'll explain everything clearly and provide an upfront quote before any work is done.
No surprises. No "how did it get that expensive?" moments.
Maintenance Services
Routine maintenance is $85, with pre-season maintenance offered at a discounted rate of $75.
To make sure we deliver thorough, high-quality service — especially when demand is high — maintenance appointments are typically scheduled during the following seasonal windows:
Air Conditioning Maintenance
April through August
Pre-season AC maintenance:
April 1 – May 31
Furnace Maintenance
September through March
Pre-season furnace maintenance:
September 1 – October 31
Pre-season maintenance helps you save money and helps us stay available for true emergencies when Ohio weather decides to get dramatic. Everybody wins.
System Replacement & Installation
For a typical 2,000 square-foot home, most complete system installations (furnace and air conditioner, or heat pump and air handler) generally range between $11,000 and $19,000.
Final pricing is determined job-by-job and confirmed through an on-site evaluation. We take into account system size, efficiency options, ductwork, installation requirements, and your home's specific needs.
One thing's non-negotiable: We never schedule an installation without a completed on-site assessment and an approved quote. No guessing games.

Frequently Asked Questions
Click any question to expand the answer.
1 How long do you think my furnace or air conditioner will last?
The honest answer? It depends. While 15–20 years is a common lifespan, factors like usage, maintenance, installation quality, and even luck can all play a role.
Whenever we service your system, we'll evaluate its overall condition and give you straightforward, honest feedback — no scare tactics, no upselling.
2 When is a good time to get maintenance? Do I need to get it every year?
We recommend a yearly check for both your furnace and air conditioner or heat pump. The best time to get your furnace checked is at the start of heating season, which is usually late September here in Ohio.
The best time to have your air conditioner or heat pump checked is in cooling season, usually mid- to late April through August. Temperatures must be over 65°F for us to accurately check your refrigerant charge, which is part of our routine maintenance.
3 What forms of payment do you accept and when is payment due?
We accept cash, checks, cashier's checks, and all major credit cards. Payment is due at the time service is completed unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time.
4 Do you offer financing?
Yes we do! We offer financing through the Synchrony Bank KwikComfort Program. More details — including how to apply — can be found on our financing page.
Call our office to learn about special financing promotions for qualifying system installations.
5 Why do repairs or a new system cost so much?
We take pride in doing things the right way. That means ongoing training, staying current with new technology, maintaining proper licenses, and carrying full insurance to protect both you and our team.
Like most industries, HVAC equipment and parts have also been impacted by inflation and tariffs. We work hard to keep our pricing fair and competitive. We may not always be the cheapest — and that's okay. We stand behind our work and focus on delivering quality service you can trust.
6 Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We run specials on tune-ups and system installations throughout the year. Give our office a call at 937-367-9551 to see what's currently available.
7 What should I do to prepare for your visit?
To help your appointment go smoothly:
- Ensure the technician has clear, safe access to your furnace and outdoor unit. This includes parking space for the work being performed, as well as clearing snow, ice, debris, etc. from driveways, walkways, and paths.
- Secure or supervise pets.
- Keep children supervised during the visit.
If we're unable to safely access the system, we may need to reschedule, and an additional trip charge may apply.
8 What brand of equipment do you sell?
We're a Rheem Pro Partner and primarily install Rheem furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits.
That said, we're happy to service and repair most major brands — we don't play favorites when it comes to helping you stay comfortable.
9 Will you install parts or equipment that I buy elsewhere?
No. To ensure proper fit, performance, and warranty coverage, we only install parts and equipment that we supply. This is company policy and non-negotiable.
10 Will you sell me the part so I can fix my unit myself?
We don't sell parts separately. All parts are provided as part of a repair performed by our technicians.
